After falling in love in Australia following their match on Tinder, Elena and Daniel finally said I do to each other in Elena's home country of Italy. I had the absolute honor of capturing Elena and Daniel’s wedding, a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Their ceremony took place in the stunning Duomo of Anguillara Sabazia, a beautiful lake-side town on the outskirts of Rome. As Elena walked down the aisle of this breathtaking church, light poured in from ancient stained-glass windows, and sounds of the ancient church organ filled the space. It was a perfect setting for such a deeply meaningful ceremony, where two souls and two families came together as one.
The celebration continued at Il Postiglione, a rustic, elegant hotel in the countryside just outside Rome. There, guests were treated to an authentic Italian reception, complete with incredible cuisine. The star of the meal was the tortellini—handmade and bursting with rich flavors that left everyone wanting seconds and thirds (including me!). Daniel’s heartfelt speech, which he delivered in Italian, moved everyone, bringing both laughter and tears, as he honored Elena’s family and culture with his words.
Elena and Daniel’s warmth radiated through every detail of their day, making it a joy to capture. Here’s to the beautiful future they have ahead—a future as full of love and joy as their incredible wedding day.
Our sincerest thank you to you both, Daina and Lorenzo, for giving us such an amazing experience. The work that went into all the little details was certainly noticed and what you captured for us, whilst blending in seamlessly as guests was just incredible. Thank you so much. Best in the business.
